Bridgepoint Sponsors Tri for Our Veterans

Bridgepoint Insurance Group, Inc. is proud to be a founding sponsor of the "Tri for Our Veterans" triathlon race. The 3rd Annual race will take place on Saturday May 29, 2010.

The event benefits two great organizations - The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, which helps soldiers returning from Afghanistan and Iraq as they recover from their battlefield wounds, and Sea Isle City's VFW, which is trying to rebuild the defunct Veteran Memorial Fountain & Garden in Sea Isle.

Team Semper Fi, made up of former Marines who have returned from the war with significant injuries, will participate in the race to raise awareness and funds. Go to semperfifund.org for more information.

The race begins in the ocean with a 400-yard swim, continues on the streets of Sea Isle with a 12.3-mile bike ride, and finishes on the beach with a 3.1 mile run.
